The International U.K. based Austin A30 and A35 Owners' Club

The United Kingdom-based International Austin A30 and A35 Owner's Club was formed in 1970 - 71. It has since grown world wide and we have somewhere in the region of 1100 members from all around the globe. Including several from Australia, United States of America, France, Germany and Holland among many others. The Club is renowned as being one of the friendliest clubs, with many members giving up their time to help other's who have come across difficulties. We have a Technical Information Officer, a DVLA representative, a comprehensive Spares Scheme along with various other roles. As a club, we also encourage younger members to join and we have several young members, a couple of whom are on the National Committee. Joining the Club is easy and it costs just £31.00 per anum plus an initial £5.00 joining fee.  join https://www.austina30a35ownersclub.co.uk/Join.aspx

Kim Henson

Kim Henson is a well known freelance motoring journalist. He has lived in Dorset for many years with his wife Elaine and his two children, Ant and Rachel. The family regularly attend our events throughout the year. Whether Kim is driving his ever faithful Pru, his 3 wheeled Reliant or something a little more modern Kim will always be there with a huge smile on his face. Rachel owns Ozzy another well-known car in the group with his distinctive multi-coloured grille. Kim has worked for many motoring magazines including Practical Classics and Car Mechanics and has just celebrated his 40th year doing the job he loves best. Kim is also the author of several books, a couple have been about our baby Austins. Here is a link to his most recent. Although a few years old now it's a great read and well worth investing in a copy.

Kim also helps run his own magazine style website. Wheels Alive. Here along with many others, all sorts of motoring topics are covered. From older vehicles to new vehicles and everything in between. It has taken many years to get off the ground but the end result is well worth all of the hard work. Please take a look and see for yourself.

Another book of particular interest to an owner of an A30 and A35 is Post War Baby Austins by Barney Sharrett. First published in 1988 and now long out of print, copies do often turn up on eBay and other outlets. Barney is passionate about his fixation of the little cars and this shows in this excellent book.
