Alan adds: Following on from what we were talking about the other evening I have looked out the old Daily Echo article about the Club from 1976 and have also found a copy of the Portsmouth daily paper from November the same year which mentions our joint visit with the Portsmouth Group to see HMS Victory. This also contains a group photo of us standing round Dave Homewoods car parked on the dockside. I have attempted to scan these two articles which I hope will be clear enough and attach them for you to see.
